In an AP story reprinted in the Washington Post on September 28, Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle was quoted as saying that he would veto the bill prohibiting therapeutic cloning. Then on Friday September 30 he announced the NIH decision. There will be a press conference on Monday, so I’ll update the blog then when I see what else he has to say. Politics and stem cell research are closely intertwined in this state….
