Friday morning
It’s quiet today. There are some press releases reprinted in a newsletter that require a subscription to read the full article and turn out to be several weeks old and already reported on, there are some individual patient stories, but nothing really new on the research front. The Dallas-Fort Worth television station Channel 11 ran a story about a woman who received a transplant of cord blood stem cells as treatment for aplastic anemia, and the Troy (NY) Record-News had an article about patient advocates for embryonic stem cell research.
After days and days—weeks and weeks—of cold wet weather, it is dry out and I have the windows open and am listening to birds. It’s very pleasant to see the world becoming active again. Life is a marvelous thing.
